Pyranometer are sensors for measuring the global and / or diffuse radiation. It has a robust 4 mm glass dome and a spectral range 300-2800 nm. Its small size makes it ideal for use in agriculture, in the monitoring of solar power plants and in industrial applications. The CMP 3 has a thermopile sensor element.
The pyranometer CMP 3 meets the requirements of ISO 9060 and IEC 60904, and the WMO Guidelines No.8 and the WMO classification "Second Class". The pyranometer CMP 3 meets the requirements of ISO 9060 and IEC 60904, and the WMO Guidelines No.8 and the WMO classification "Second Class". The CMP 3 is equipped as standard with a spirit level, corresponding adjustment screws and a plug-in cable with 10 m length, is individually calibrated and supplied with a calibration.
The pyranometer does not require a power supply. It provides an output signal of 0 to 20 mV proportional to the incoming radiation. If a voltage output or a 4 to 20 mA signal is needed, the use of a Smart AMPBOX Pyranometer recommends.
The smart pyranometers have a low power consumption, their Smart Interface has an RS-485 output and an amplified analog signal - voltage or current output. They are incorporated into the housings of the CMP proven series.
The smart interface includes an integrated temperature sensor and digital polynomial functions regulate the temperature behavior of the sensor element. The response has been improved and the outputs standardized, so that the devices can be swapped for a recalibration. By means of the Modbus protocol are the various information about instrument status and configuration choice available.
The SMP pyranometer have an extremely low power consumption, so that the heating of the sensor inside does not affect the detector performance. They work with a wide supply voltage range, making them ideal for supply critical applications.
The Pyranometer the SMP series are equipped with a smart interface. There are two versions: one with analog output 0-1 V, the other with 4 to 20 mA. Both have 2-wire RS485 interface with Modbus (RTU) protocol. All outputs are protected against short circuit and reverse polarity.
The analog output can be easily connected to almost any data logger or as to current sensitive mV inputs. The Modbus communicates directly with RTUs, PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial networks and data acquisition systems. A rekalibriertes instrument retains its analog and digital calibration, this saves a readjustment of the data acquisition system.
Available are the following interfaces and types:
- SMP3-V, SMP10-V or SMP11-V with 0 to 1 V output
- SMP3-A, SMP10-A or SMP11-A with 4 to 20 mA output
The CM4 offered has an extra wide temperature range with a Second Class accuracy.
