The absorbency of light radiation by the chlorophyll of plants is responsible for maintaining their growth processes of paramount importance. Too little lighting, the plant does not have enough energy to organize their growth. In excess lighting it gives off energy in the form of fluorescence. This is a criterion for the state of the plant. Excessive illumination leads to dehydration and incineration.
Photosynthesis sensor PAR
The sensitivity corresponds to the optimum efficiency of chlorophyll. The measurement results allow for a reliable assessment of the conditions of development of plants. Using the PAR measuring head photochemical development processes of field and greenhouse plants can be optimized.
The sensor is used in areas of agricultural research, horticulture, the agricultural sector and in education. The PAR measuring head has a weatherproof aluminum housing. The measurement is cos-corrected. The light entrance window are made of plastic.
