UV-S-AE-T - UV radiometre

The ultraviolet (UV) part of the solar spectrum has different positive effects on the human physiology, but overmuch is also injurious here. The UV area has a wavelength area of 100 to 280 nm (UV C), 280 to 315 nm (UV B) and 315 to 400 nm (UV-A). Nearly the whole UV C and approx. 90% of the UV B radiation are absorbed by the terrestrial atmosphere.

The ultraviolet rays help us to produce vitamin D, but she can also burn the skin and cause cancer, Melanome and ocular damages. The ultraviolet rays which have effect on the human skin are called erythem active ultraviolet rays (UVE) and are pulled up for the calculation of the global UV index (UVI).

Measurements of the UV A and UV B radiation serve for the supervision and investigation of the effect of solar radiation on plants and animals. Important aspects with the material testing are ageing effects which originate from the effect of ultraviolet rays outside, as for example Versprödung or discoloration. However, measurements are also carried out under controlled conditions in climate chambers and with artificial UV sources of light.

The supervision UVE serves human-biological and medical uses and it is important that the measurement corresponds to the erythemen reaction spectrum of the human skin. The data are used to the calculation of the UV index for weather reports within the scope of the health care. Thus UVE is also considered by the development by cosmetics, Sun to tailors, creams and other materials protecting the skin.

The tilting & zonal programme encloses a whole series of UV S. broadband to radiometres for the exact measurement of the ultraviolet rays. Radiometres for the UV A, UV B and UV E area fulfil different measuring standards and there is also dual tape models. The unique software UVIATOR for the UV S. series still improves the exactness of the measurements, while it considers the ozone portion of the atmosphere and the solar state.

With adjustable device feet and a Nivellierlibelle the radiometres can be aimed precisely horizontally. A precision quartz cathedral and an especially formed diffuser provide for a unique Ansprechverhalten.

The signal exit is strengthened for data acquisition systems and the internal Temperaturstabilisation can be supervised. The tension care and signal connections occur by means of qualitatively high-quality, UV-continual cable with 10-m length (25 m optionally) and water resistant plug connector. The instrument is provided with a loose drying means cartridge which prevents the humidity education inside.

The UV-S-A-T radiometre disposes of a wide spectral range which is optimally aimed on the measurement more atmospherically UV A radiation. His exit of 0 to 3 V represents the radiation area of from 0 to 90 W/m ².

The spectral range of the UV-S-B-T of radiometre is optimum on the measurement of the atmospheric ones
