Product information "Albedo-Pyranometer with Si photodiode"

The global radiation is incident from the upper hemisphere of the earth direct sunlight and indirect diffuse sky radiation. It comprises a spectral range of about 200 to about 3000 nm, i.e. from the UV through the visible to the far infrared range.

 

For many applications, e.g. in the agriculture or solar field, the use of pyranometers with matched photodiodes as detector makes sense. The detected spectral range between about 350 and 1100 nm. The spectrum of the global radiation would thus cut off only in the edge region.

 

The pyranometer fare compared with a traceable Präzisions pyranometer under natural or artificial global radiation conditions. Thus, the results are very comparable.

The  Pyranometer are optimized for use with data loggers and control systems.
