The handheld anemometer RVM 160 is used to measure the wind speed. The RVM 160 is a portable, easy-to-use device. The wind speed is detected by an electronic measuring system in which the rotary movement of the shutter window is converted by an optoelectronic transmitter into an electrical signal.

The LCD display allows the following modes:
· Immediate data,
· Average data for the selected period,
· Minima for the selected period and
· Maxima for the selected period.
