The evaporimeter is used to determine evaporation. The evaporation is measured by measuring the weight change of water in the measuring vessel with known area (250 cm 2). A strain gauge is used as the measuring method. The measuring system is equipped with a microprocessor and housed in a plastic housing.

As a result of the measurement, the weight loss of water in units / cm2 is converted from the moment the tare was measured. A loss of performance does not affect the measurement result because the initial settings (including the tare setting) are stored in non-volatile memory. The water temperature is measured using a Pt100 sensor. The test results are shown on the display. Regardless of the display mode, the device continuously sends measurement results to the serial interface.

The measured data can be read out from the memory by software download. For this purpose, the included software must be installed on WINDOWS computer. With this software, you can configure the recording parameters and download the collected data. The display as well as the analysis in tabular and graphical form are also possible with this software. Export to other data analysis programs is also possible.
