Septumtensiometer

The technique of Septumtensiometer enables reading several Tensiometer with only one reader and provides a cost effective alternative for the comprehensive determination of soil moisture tension with many measuring points. The top of the tensiometer is sealed with a silicone septum, so that the hand-held instrument can be infected quickly and easily with a needle. After removal of the meter, the septum closes automatically. If worn, it can be easily replaced, because it is bolted depending on the desired shape with a GL18 thread or as a silicone plug. The ceramic candle (P80; 20 x 50 mm) (20 mm Ø) mounted on a transparent acrylic tube with level scale. The level of the tensiometer is thus always readily apparent.
