Precipitation gauge with tipping spoon

The tipping bucket - A technology with many functions and advantages
1.the heart of the product

is our patented, unique, self-draining single bucket tipping bucket. The tipping bucket is one of the most accurate measuring devices on the market for rain sensors. Using this technology offers a number of advantages:
    Very accurate measurements: +/- 2 %.
Flexible with many options for resolutions. Standard is 0.1 - 0.2 - 0.25 or 0.5 mm.
Only one adjustment screw, allowing easy recalibration.
Easy replacement when servicing the rain gauge.
The bucket is made of POM, a repellent material that dust and dirt do not stick to easily and maximises water delivery.
2.How does the tipping bucket technique work?
The precipitation is measured with a funnel that directs the water into the single, self-draining POM tipping bucket. A hard ferrite magnet holds the bucket in position.
The magnet always exerts just enough tension to cause the measuring spoon to empty in one quick movement (less than 300 ms) and then return to its normal position, ready to collect precipitation again. This means that the counterweight always remains the same, unlike other conventional rain gauges with two spoons.
